AVID ACS, our flagship multidisciplinary aircraft synthesis design tool, was designed from the ground up as an optimization tool and derived from the experience and research of NASA and Virginia Tech in the ACSYNT Institute.

AVID ACS executes a geometry module to define the aircraft dimensions and physical shape using traditional aircraft sizing and performance methodologies - from small UAVs to supersonic STOVL fighters. Using this definition provides constant development and vehicle validation.

When used for application in the early design stages of an aircraft, and in conceptual design studies of numerous vehicles, AVID ACS can greatly reducing prototype and production costs.
